Women’s Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility that helps you access and positively influence the subconscious mind. During hypnosis, a trained hypnotherapist guides the individual into a relaxed, trance-like state, allowing them to access their subconscious thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
In a hypnotic state, individuals are more receptive to positive suggestions, enabling them to adopt new thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Hypnosis, if you let it, can bypass the critical thinking mind to reduce resistance to change and allow for more effective reprogramming of negative patterns.
Generally, hypnosis induces deep relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety to create a conducive environment for positive change. Everyone is different and experiences this state in their own unique way – some report pleasant physical sensations of warmth or tingling. Others simply sit comfortably with their eyes closed and enjoy the moment.
It is important to note that hypnotherapy is not mind control, truth serum, nor do individuals lose consciousness at any point during the session. Quite the opposite, clients report having a heightened sense of awareness of themselves.
The purpose of a program of hypnotherapy is for vocational and avocational self-improvement and as alternative or complementary treatment to healing arts services licensed by the state. A hypnotherapist is not a licensed physician or psychologist, and hypnotherapy services are not licensed by the State. Services are non-diagnostic and do not include the practice of medicine, neither should they be considered as a substitute for licensed medical or psychological services or procedures.
Hypnotherapists who assist clients with weight loss and/or other health and fitness goals may provide general nutritional advice and/or recommend published books, food guides and health and fitness publications. This is not a substitute for medical advice, and you are advised to seek your Doctor’s approval before making any medical/health/lifestyle changes.
